Customer Reviews

Perfect for liquid foundationThis brush is comparable to Urban Decay's Good Karma Optical Blurring brush for those of you who are familiar with that brand. The brush is dense enough to blend and apply liquid foundation very well, but small enough to get all areas of your face, including the areas underneath/around the eyes and nose. Bristles are smooth, and are made for liquid makeup, so application feels super smooth and easy. This brush has become the one I use every day, and you can't beat the price either!5Fake!!!I believe i got a fake one. I have the real version that i got from target. The length and density of the bristles are different. This one from amazon is smaller, flimsy (because the bristles are longer it has more flex to it) and definitely not as dense which i hate because that is what i love about the expert face brush that i got from the store! The plastic package that it came in was open. I hate writing reviews but i can't believe i got this only for a dollar cheaper but doesn't have the right quality im looking for. This is a huge disappointment. The one on the right is the real one. The overall feel is so different.1My magic wandI bought this back in March and am just washing it for the first time today ( really bad I know ) but then I had to do my makeup for work without it while it was drying and missed it so much I decided to write a well deserved review.I had stopped using liquid foundation for and while and was only using loose and pressed powders because sponge applicators left my face looking cakey and my fingertips made my makeup look streaky. I ordered this brush in hopes of upping my face game and boy oh boy :) I use it after primer to buff on foundation and I only have to apply a couple small dabs of makeup to my cheeks, forehead and chin and this brush takes that small amount and covers my entire face. And the coverage is even and flawless and not cakey at all. My skin even looks dewy after application which I've never experienced before with liquid foundation.Today I just used my finger tips to apply my foundation and I had to use almost twice as much and the coverage can't even compare. Also, the brush washed up really well. I washed it with some other real techniques brushes I ordered along with this one and none of them lost any bristles. All the real techniques brushes have held their form very well and dried quickly after washing (which is not something I can say about my Bare Minerals or Lanc me brushes)If you're on the fence, buy it. It's a necessity and a steal for the price.Side note: I was on the fence between this and the stippling brush by real techniques and decided to buy both because I watched some videos where people were giving advice on using the stippling brush for bb cream and foundation.. Yeah. No. The stippling brush is great for loose powered blush and bronzer but not for liquid coverage. If you are like me and are looking for a brush for applying foundation or cc/bb cream, you want this brush.5My go-to tool for applying foundationI use this brush to apply liquid foundation. I fell into the all the hype about the Beauty Blender sponge, so I spent $20 and bought one. I wanted to be thrilled about it, but ultimately, it sucked up too much product and it didn't apply foundation as nicely as the RT Expert Face Brush. The RT EFB doesn't waste product and gives a flawless finish. I've tried the Shiseido brush, too; it's a high end brush, and I still find myself reaching for this RT brush. I love it. It's a great tool for a very good price. Don't fall for all the hype about other foundation tools. This is all you need. When I use pressed powder foundation, I use the RT Buffing Brush which has a flat top. It's great for that purpose. I don't think Amazon sells it; I bought that brush from Ulta for under $10.5Use it every day! This brush is perfect for applying powder foundations. I don't like it so much with liquid foundation/bb creams because I feel it's a bit streaky with those, but when I use this for buffing in my Bare Minerals powder, it blends everything in seamlessly! I don't like the bare minerals brushes because they're scratchy and shed, but this is soft, never sheds on me, and is something I can't imagine doing my makeup without! The brush hairs are short, and very dense making it a perfect buffing brush. Must have if you use mineral makeup or powder foundation!5
